I’m sad to write this review but I’m gonna be brutally honest— Do NOT go here and waste your time and money!! I had been looking forward to it for months because it had seemed so cute and the drinks looked great but finally tried it with a friend the yesterday and was surprisingly disappointed. We both got the regular Thai Tea Latte and it was one of the WORST i’ve had in new york city. Legitimately any random Thai restaurant probably has a better one. It’s just baffling to me— You’re marketing
I had a wonderful time at Nuar cafe. I ordered the Thai milk tea float! The Thai tea didn’t taste like a usual Thai tea though I liked that it wasn’t too sweet, it had flavors more similar to black tea. The ice cream was amazing. I’m not a huge fan of ice cream but this ice cream was very smooth and the flavor was almost similar to chocolate or like red velvet - it was great!
nuar serves exclusively thai tea drinks and desserts. there are many matcha spots in the city. but this is the ONLY cafe specializing in thai tea and they are really good at it 🤎 their menu ranges from classic thai tea, to fun drinks like thai tea with pandan cold foam, to ice cream, toast and parfait 🍞 all of them feature thai tea or local thai ingredients like pandan, coconut 🥥 we tried 🍹 thai tea on cloud ($8.5) and parfait—thai tea toast with thai tea ice cream ($15). the tea is stron
