Service was beyond excellent, food was fantastic and the atmosphere was cool… intimate, lil dark if you catch the wrong seat, even though romantically lit by ah little candle on the table top. But 4.8 outta 5 total experience. Ordered the shrimp mofongo, best ever!! Talk about wanting to drink the sauce, and lick the plate clean… sheeeeeesh.
Everything we ordered was delicious, and both our hostess and server were exceptionally attentive. This easily could have been a five-star experience if not for the mishandled oysters. Unfortunately, whoever was shucking them seemed inexperienced…they were slow, left behind some grit, mangled several, and served many upright, which caused the wonderful liquor to spill out.
