I was in Midtown today and remembered I needed to bring home a loaf of sourdough. Behold, the heavens opened on 40th & 6th Ave. I swear I heard angels caroling, "Ole & Steen Lagkagehuset!" I'm a native Minnesotan, so I didn't need anyone to tell me that Ole & Steen was Scandinavian. Danish, as it turns out. Åh min gud! The bread is the best I've ever had! You don't need butter or any spread — I ate three slices in the car before I got home. The best thing on the menu has to be the Rye Chocol
Stopped by for a coffee date and immediately loved the energy of this place. The café was bustling with people, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere without feeling overwhelming. I ordered a latte and the zucchini toastie, both of which were enjoyable and well-prepared. The latte was smooth and comforting, while the toastie made for a satisfying light meal. A great spot to grab coffee, people-watch, and soak in the neighborhood vibe right by bryant park.
I really enjoyed my lunch experience, I had chose this place for healthy fresh made food. Yum and delicious. Team is amazing very nice 👌 welcoming Probably will be my favourite place to go for lunch break. Location also close to the park and subway as well.
