After a week in New York, I finally found a place serving a truly delicious bowl of oatmeal! I had a large, warm bowl topped with banana, blueberries, and honey. It was exactly what I had been craving — comforting, filling, and absolutely delicious. Chris ordered an egg and avocado sandwich, but after tasting my oatmeal, he ended up ordering a bowl for himself as well! That says it all. They serve a small menu of delicious pastries, "rolly" sandwiches made on a round roll of croissant dough stuffed with either eggs, cheese, turkey, avocado or a combo and other treats, coffees, a few soups... Simple, elegant cafe tables under Grand Central Station make a peaceful respite from the crowds. Quick service yet food prep and presentation reflect real attention to flavor and detail.
Olivio was the cutest coffee shop ever. The staff was so kind and welcoming. I’m in NYC for my bachelorette trip and they gave me a free Italian wedding cookie, which was delicious. My pistachio latte was a 10 out of 10. I highly, highly recommend this place.
