so much spacious seat compared to most omakases. Chef was outgoing and was willing to explain fish origin, flavor design, seasonal impact to fish quality, etc. In general we definitely enjoyed the dinner. For $109 it is really great value of the 17-course omakase.
Chef Takeshi and James held it down for a transcendent omakase experience. There’s something to be sad about experiencing the actual craft and selection from an artisan. Sometimes you just gotta treat yourself and take it slow to appreciate the finer things in life. The service was very attentive and I love the way. Chef was willing to engage about the different fishes and how he prepared them. Hard to put into words, but it was definitely a great tour of different kinds of fish and textures.
Best stumbled on joy I’ve experienced. It’s not a secret that sushi is my favorite but this was exceptional. It should cost more than it does but don’t underestimate the value because it’s not more expensive…for those that chase the best. Every bite was exquisite. New tastes were exciting for me. I hadn’t had belt fish. The starter Kumoto oyster immediately inspired me to do the entire 17 piece omakase. The uni was the best of the best. It’s omakase so sit and pamper your taste buds.
