This was my first time at Bar Orai, and I really loved the atmosphere, they even had a DJ playing vinyl, which added a great vibe to the space. One downside is that they don’t accept reservations for groups larger than four, and if you show up with more than four people, they won’t seat you, even if you’re willing to split into two groups. That was a bit disappointing. However, we do respect that. Overall, though, the ambiance is lovely, the food is decent, and the cocktails are well-crafted.
I love a listening room! We need more places that play vinyls where I live, this one is top 3 on my list. Perfect for a date night drink, I recommend the Penicillin. The ambiance is everything! So cozy! And can we talk about the matches? How creative!
Overall rating: 4.6 Came here after a play nearby originally wanting to go to Upstairs. It was 10pm on a Friday so it was def busy. We got the Plum Yuzu HB & Sorrel Remedy which were both drinks were delicious. The bartender was also really nice. He left us alone but still checked in from time to time. It was definitely busy!!
