If there's a better bar in Brooklyn I haven't found it. For one, it's a full bar, not just beer and well liquor. And the vibe is so chill. Tribe Called Quest was playing when I walked in. We got some De La Soul later. I could drink negronis here all night.
Stay away if your a person of color. On Friday night I came in with 5 of my associates from my startup, I decided to treat all my coworkers to rounds of drinks. I paid for all my items but was told my 50$ bills was fake. I had gotten them out from the bank that we have a contract with. There was zero indication of my bills being fake other “ wrong size” I had to keep telling your bartender his was fake because I work with the bank and have never encountered a fake bill coming out of teller hand.
This is a real comfortable dive bar. Straightforward, great drinks, cool bartender and a really interesting outdoor shack. The roof is off slanted. Never seen another like it anywhere in the city. I had a couple of frozen drinks for $10 each. Laid back, chill spot, perfect for a group hang out. NBD. Enjoy
