This was our first stay at a Park Hyatt and it was the best hotel stay we’ve had thus far. Even the standard room is spacious and luxurious. The pool, steam room, and hot tub were great. Service at the restaurant and bar were excellent. We truly felt spoiled. My favorite was the tub in front of the floor to ceiling windows. This was a special occasion and a special treat for us and I’m not sure if we’ll be able to have this experience again, so if you have the opportunity to stay here while in N
We recently celebrated our anniversary at the Park Hyatt NYC! While the stay started rough since they gave us a room with a loud humming noise, the experience was remediated shortly after. My girlfriend and I were celebrating our anniversary and they surprised us with a thoughtful amenity. It consisted of a nice handwritten card, wine, handmade chocolate strawberries, Evian water, and prolific fruit basket. I was really impressed by these personal touches. A nice hotel, but for a Park Hyatt, it was still disappointing. Overall, the room was very small even in New York, although the bathroom was spacious. There were no major issues with the service, but there was also nothing particularly commendable about it. Later, I moved to the Waldorf Astoria, which was much better. The lobby was probably about 100 times larger than the one at the Park Hyatt, and the room was several times bigger, more luxurious, and more refined.
