Homey, no-frills eatery serving bone broth based soups, with a spicy or non-spicy option.
From Google Maps reviews.
A great hole-in-the-wall Korean restaurant. They only serve one dish (or rather, bowl). And it's beef and cabbage soup with rice. Also known as Sogogi-gukbap (소고기 국밥). Only 2 questions are asked: 1) how many people? 2) spicy or not spicy? And those are the only questions that need to be asked. The servers are nice and attentive. There's a reason why this place has been here for as long as it has. The food is delicious and the best way to describe it is: just like mom used to make it.
Very traditional hole in the wall restaurant service only one thing so you know they've perfected it because the whole business is hanging on that dish, beef rice soup. It is served with some side dishes, an omelette to make it more filling and the kkakdugi kimchi to refresh your mouth. It's an experience.
Really good gukbap here. Had both the spicy and non spicy. Liked both but the spicy one had a much more rich flavor. Non spicy was good as well and that is usually my choice but just felt it didnt hit as much. But great service and especially like that they gave a side order complimentary to our baby. Even some rice with seaweed wrap. That alone deserves an extra star from us.
