We were craving some good Jamaican food and we found it! We had an order of Oxtail and Curry Chicken both with Rice & Peas as well as Sweet Plantains. Everything we had was very authentically Jamaican, I should know because my ex husband was from there and his dear Mom was a great chef; therefore, I am spoiled when it comes their cuisine! Also as a Cuban I know about plantains and the ones we experience there were close to perfection. Service was excellent everyone very helpful with a smile and
I spend $69 on food only to discover that the food that I bought was not cooked, it was undercooked. They gave me small container plates for a $28 oxtail meal. The oxtails were so tough and rubbery. You couldn’t even bite into it. No tenderness at all. I called the store to report it and the staff laughed on the phone. That was insulting. I brought the food back to the store and demanded my money back. They had the plastic white laminated paper with a no money back sign. I was informed you have
I had an amazing experience at Peppa’s Jerk Chicken Restaurant in New York! The chicken was incredibly juicy, packed with flavor, and had just the right amount of spice. You can really taste the authenticity in every bite. The service was excellent—friendly, fast, and welcoming. The prices were also very fair for the quality and portion you get. If you’re craving real Jamaican flavor, Peppa’s is definitely the spot. Highly recommend! 👍🔥🍗
