$10 for cold distasteful food. Didn’t taste authentic at all just loaded with pepper. The lunch special sz is a 3 inch by 4 inch container it’s more of a snack, definitely not worth it.
I got stew chicken with cabbage and plantains. The chicken was sooooo dry. Honestly how do you stew chicken and it’s dry? This terrible meal cost me $17 which is outrageous. The portions were so small like smaller than a small plate. I can’t recommend. I know it’s park slope but at that price point the food needs to be better. Very disappointed.
Yesterday I started a no cabs diet and stumbled by this Peppas here on Park Slope and dam it was amazing, the place is clean and very tidy well put together, a tad bit small but I love cozy. I ordered the stew oxtail with my sides being steamed Cabbage, spinach and fried plantain, it was mouth watering, seasoned to perfection, oxtail well done, with the use of a fork it’s practically falling off the bone, juicy delightful flavor and exciting to the palette.
