Been coming here over a decade. I never liked pie. My wife did. This place was the reason I discovered what pie can be like. Can have an ice cream scoop, or a black coffee (the pie balances out the coffee). Always a great spot and great workers.
Stopped by Petee's Pie Company on the Lower East Side and really enjoyed it. The cherry crumble pie was very good the crumble had nuts in it, which added a slight salty bite that balanced the sweetness of the cherries perfectly. The texture and flavor combo worked really well and made it stand out.
Excellent pie. Their crumb pies are divine and tried their new guava and mascarpone was delicious. They also have individual slices to go. On 3/15 they celebrate Pi day with Pi symbols on their Pies. Got this for the math and science lovers.
