3.5 stars, bumping it up for the vibes. Came for the Peking duck on Mother’s Day (reserve in advance!) and it wasn’t the best Peking duck I’ve had in the city but still very good. I will note however they’re generous with the portion size!! Sadly they don’t serve the traditional soup with it. Marinated cucumbers were refreshing and very flavorful, well done. Mushroom dumplings were the unexpected favorite of the night. Crab soup dumplings had virtually no crab flavor and were just fine soup dump
I throughly enjoyed my meal here. The dumplings were delicious and every bit as good as din tai Fung. The beef noodle soup was served with a delicious broth and nice pieces of beef shank cooked till the tendons were soft and gelatinous. But the star of the show were the scallops. Raw, thinly sliced, just enough chilli to give a little bit of a hit at the end of the mouthful
go for the dumplings. they’re the standout here and the main reason this spot hits. quick, nice staff, and very tasty - i’d definitely recommend it if you’re in the mood for chinese food that doesn’t overdo it. the wontons were our fav. we also got the dan dan noodles, seafood fried rice, chocolate cake, mochi and brussel sprouts.
