Laid-back restaurant focusing on traditional Jamaican fare, such as oxtail, rice and peas, and jerk chicken.
From Google Maps reviews.
Tried this place on a whim. Credit card machine wasn’t working, hand written menus, food’s been stewing for hours. Usain Bolt’s picture framed on the wall next to some plastic plants. This place is absolutely perfect and will remain at the top of my list for a cold evening’s soul food. Protect and patronize at all costs. We got the oxtail and rice with plantains, Mac & cheese, and chicken stew. Perfect heat, fall-off-the-bone (literally plucked a bone from my plate and gravity did the rest
MELTING POT NEEDS A TEAM MEETING! I couldn't find the restaurant on my google search. I happen to stumbled on the place. This enclave is not a west Indian community, which should let them standout amongst all the other food vendors in the area. I gave them 3-stars for presentation, cashless options and customer service. The food is cooked right, it looks like Jamaica food but something is missing. The course of the meals is usually light, which explains the surroundings Hispanic community.
There were labels in my food! They seemed to not take the labels off the peppers... did they even wash the peppers? I imagine you would take the labels off when washed...!?!? However, Nice people who accommodated me with a free patty because the delivery service (independent) did not show for an hour. The reason for the 3 starts instead of 1!
