I’m totally a sucker for when they put a few fries in something like a California burrito or this Greek Gyro Wrap I got from Pita Pan for $13. Sometimes a whole order of fries is overkill and true culinary innovators understand that. The wrap was well constructed and filling, packed with chicken, onion, tomato, yogurt sauce, and of course the aforementioned french fries.
This place is a hidden GEM. The lamb shawarma is incredible. The meat is so tender and the sauces pair perfectly, without using an overwhelming amount. The chicken shawarma is a good option too. The french fries are seasoned to perfection. The babaganoush is creamy and delicious. Everything is made in house. The baklava is the perfect way to end the meal and if you ask nicely they’ll make you a fresh cup of coffee to accompany it :)
This place hardly needs a good review it's so busy but it deserves to be glorified as a Park Slope legend and perfect middle eastern food prepared authentic by the owners mom downstairs ! I haven't been disappointed by anything I have ordered from pita pan or Mr. Falafel who folded into Pita Pan over the 25 years they have existed in the Slope.
