I don't understand why the rating here is so low. It’s a gorgeous, spacious café—such a rare find in NYC compared to all the cramped coffee shops where you have no elbow room. The staff are lovely and the vibes are great. My only complaint is the lack of a customer restroom. If they had one, it would be a flawless 5/5. Still definitely worth a visit!
I visited PlantShed and had a very mixed experience. The place itself is absolutely stunning — it feels like a mix of flower shop and café, filled with plants, books, beautiful flooring, and a lovely view. Truly a gorgeous space. Unfortunately, the service was very disappointing. The staff were unfriendly, with closed expressions and no warmth at all, which really ruined the experience. Such a shame, because the atmosphere is breathtaking, but the service does not match the beauty of the place.
PlantShed is a nice enough spot for coffee and a quick break. The atmosphere is pleasant and the plants add a unique touch to the space. One downside is that they don’t have a restroom available for customers, which can be inconvenient if you're planning to stay for a while.
