Casual eatery chain serving smoothies, freshly made acai and pitaya bowls.
From Google Maps reviews.
Playa Bowls inside the Helmsley Building at 230 Park Avenue is a great spot in Midtown Manhattan if you want a refreshing and healthy snack while exploring the city. The place is known for its smoothie bowls and fruit based bowls that are colorful, fresh, and packed with flavor. It is especially nice if you are looking for something light and energizing instead of heavy food. There are plenty of vegetarian friendly choices since most of the menu is based on acai, coconut, pitaya, banana, granol
Very disappointing experience. The place is supposed to open at 7 AM, but when I arrived at 10 AM both employees refused to take my order because they had a “large online order” coming in. They were unkind and dismissive, telling me they didn’t want to make a bowl—only smoothies. I insisted, and the lady finally prepared my oatmeal bowl in under two minutes, handed it to me without a word or even making eye contact. Completely unprofessional and unwelcoming. I will not go back.
Like always Playa Bowls are deliciouse. Only thing of this location aperantly cause it's in Manhattan it's $14.99 compared to in deal $12. Also, this location is a very overcrowded food court, and there's nowhere to sit. But the service was great and well the food taste the same. Again I ordered the Nutaya with strawberries It's Kosher
