This is one of many locations for this rapidly growing Guatemalan chicken chain, now based in Texas. My last time stopping at one of their locations was in Chinatown, where I tried a Spicy Chicken Sandwich, which was good, especially with a side of roasted plantains/maduros. I haven’t been to one Pollo Campero location where I wasn’t treated in a respectful manner. The employees are extremely friendly and hospitable and they go out of their way to show customers why they should come back! The food is hot and delicious. I stopped by on New Year’s Eve and purchased the Campero Nuggets meal with a drink. It was instantly rated a 10/10 for me. I hope they can open an extra location in Brooklyn where I live. I finally popped in here after seeing them at various locations throughout the city. After rolling into Penn Station after a day at the beach we decided to finally try Pollo Campero... and we were very pleasantly surprised. We ordered the Campero box which was had a spicy chicken sandwich, yucca fries and a great Horchata and the three piece meal. You have the option of fried or grilled chicken which was great. The staff for super super friendly and the food was really really good... so good
