Food was cooked on induction stoves (visible from the bar seating in the back)which made the food not have that classic Chinese wok taste and didn't give much time for the flavors to really sink in. We got the eggplant, fried rice and crispy chicken. Flavor profile was either not present at all or really salty with not much depth, very one dimensional. For the cost of the dishes I expected more. LOOOOVEEEEE!!!! This was a standout place out of our entire two weeks spent in NY. From the cool atmosphere to the drinks and don’t even get me started on the food… incredible!! It’s honestly hard to choose favorites because it was all so good, but if I had to, I’d say the mushroom potstickers and definitely don’t skip out on the chicken and biscuits. Three of us ordered a couple items from each section to do family style and it was perfect. Would go here again and again and again.
Overview: Come for the excellent, elevated yet authentic Chinese cuisine, stay for the chill vibes, decor and pleasant service. A completely recommend checking out Potluck Club when in Chinatown or in need of a nice yet chill dining experience.
