We had a long day walking around and were going to see a movie at Spectacle round the corner but had a couple of hours to kill. We headed here as it was just round the corner from the cinema, and had the time of our lives. Spencer behind the bar is so welcoming, and has so many cool stories about music, sports, everything - everyone at the bar was friendly ! Great beer, free pool, baseball on the TV, what more could you want! We’ll definitely be back next time we visit :)
NO SHADE AT ALL - this is a bar to go when you don’t know / care what you’re drinking. Stick to beers and tequila / vodka sodas I asked for one of their house drinks + a mezcal Negroni for my friend. She shook my Negroni lol then when I sent it back she said it was my fault cause I asked for tequila. It was a mezcal Negroni lol ….. also - I’ve been bartending in fancy cocktail bars for years … I know what I’m talking about 😔 But she was kind and let me exchange it for the same house drink I
Had a amazing experience. The bartender Gill was friendly and knowledgeable and very courteous. Good vibes and wonderful well kept free pool table in the back. Over all a great time with great happy hour deals.
