I was very surprised to see actual sand and full courts in NYC. It was so fun to learn some volleyball basics from amazing instructors like Isabella, Rakim(I don’t recall the accurate spelling) and Greg. It was just such a fun activity, and everyone there is so nice and helpful. The vibes are great. They have a bar with a good selection of drinks. I had the Paloma in a can and that was solid. They also have like feet washing station, water fountain and very nicely stocked restrooms.
Finally jumped in after shoulder surgery, and it was worth the wait! My kids have been coming to QBK for a while, so I knew it was a good place, but I finally got to try it myself after recovering from shoulder surgery. Couldn't wait any longer. I'm a total beginner, but the coaches made me feel right at home. Super knowledgeable and really patient, which makes all the difference when you're just starting out. Amazing intro class! I’ve been wanting to start a new active hobby and this was the perfect match. So worth the travel to Queens! Sydney is a very instructive instructor she challenges you and words of affirmation. Which is encouraging! Greg is funny , and patient he responds to questions promptly. I didn’t feel shy at all. The team who joined today was fun!!!
