If you are looking for flash, fancy decor, or a massive dining room, keep walking. But if you want some of the most authentic, soul-warming Peruvian food outside of Lima without spending an arm and a leg, this hole-in-the-wall is absolute paradise. I'm a local who's been coming here for years even before I lived in the area (I would cross NYC to get here) Every single dish here tastes incredibly authentic and delicious. A few absolute must-orders: Ceviche Pescado: The absolute star of the show
The person (I believe the owner) was incredibly nice and helpful with recommendations. And the food was soooooo good. I got it as takeout and the smell was just making me more and more hungry on the way. Justifiably so because once I finally got to eat the food was fantastic. Definitely try it out!
My husband bought a bottle of wine and we ordered the chicken fried rice with the Peruvian chicken. We also ordered the fried calamari and we also ordered grilled chicken with avocado salad when I tell you run don’t walk. Do not crawl run here It was absolutely amazing. The flavor was top-tier fresh and I will most definitely be coming back. The price was well worth it. I couldn’t even believe that we had such a tasty restaurant in this neighborhood, but I was absolutely pleased.
