This is the best ramen restaurant I’ve been to in New York. It’s not only quintessentially East Village in its vibe and charm, but the food is absolutely delicious and the friendliest, welcoming and kind staff you could hope for. It’s only 3 table slabs with a few chairs so it’s cozy and familiar no matter how many are there at a given time. Ramen Ishida never misses. The Tokyo Shoyu Ramen with truffle is their #1 for a reason, consistent, deeply flavorful, and just as good every single time.
