An ok mexican spot for some food and drinks. Nicely decorated with Frida on the chimney mantle. Food is good, but nothing really stood out. The mole bit too watery to my liking. Good service and drinks.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic spot, and I must say, the experience was truly remarkable. The food, especially the brunch options, was nothing short of amazing. Each dish was crafted with care, bursting with flavor and creativity. One of my personal theories is that if the drinks are exceptional, the food often follows suit—and that was definitely the case here. The cocktails were delightful, with a special shoutout to the mojito coconut, which was simply *chef's kiss*.
I've lived in NYC for almost two decades, and this is my new go-to bar. The quesabirria is incredible. I'll never get tired of it. I usually sit at the bar, so I learned quickly that Giovanni is a top tier bartender. He makes great drinks, remembers what you like if you're a return customer, and is a great conversationalist. Highest possible recommendation for this place!
