I never anticipated that I would be writing a review about a movie theater. Recently, I hosted a birthday celebration there, and unfortunately, one of my friends took a tumble on the subway stairs before arriving. Thankfully, a manager promptly provided ice for her ankle, while two ushers graciously assisted her to her seat. Their kindness and support made a difficult situation much easier. All the screens here are shaped like TV screens, not movie screens. Cinematic widescreen movies appear shrunken with big black bars at the top and bottom, just like on TV - but that’s not how it’s meant to be seen in a theater. In a real cinema, the wide format would be the largest, not the smallest, when the screen has a proper cinema aspect ratio (except imax). At this place, an action movie would appear smaller than a romantic comedy. It makes no sense and it cheapens the movie going experien
I had a wonderful experience here! Wonderful service from the staff that I interacted with- the guy who scanned our tickets was wonderful! Extremely friendly during entering (he even reminded me to send a screenshot to my second guest who was late to arrive), he also opened the downstairs door for us as we existed in the same friendly manner. The seats here are the some of the best and comfortable seats I’ve experienced. The recline on the seats is the most I’ve seen, also very plush and clean
