The moment we walked into Reichenbach Hall, it felt exactly like stepping into an authentic beer hall in Germany. We ordered the Mixed Bratwurst plate, which comes with three excellent types of sausage: bratwurst, bauernwurst, and nürnberger würstel. Everything was incredibly flavorful. I especially loved the red cabbage and sauerkraut; it wasn’t overly tangy and had the perfect, delicious balance of sweet, savory, and salty notes. Beautiful and lively beer hall with very attentive staff. I recommend the pretzel obviously and also the schnitzel. For beers, a fun one for the heavy drinkers is the Rauchbier as the smoke will remind you of a brown liquor drink. Get a reservation so you can have a good bench during busy days. Other days it's NBD just walk in. If I was closer I'd make this my regular happy hour or weekly dinner.
We came late on a Thursday. Can I just say… wow. The service was amazing. James was attentive and walking around checking on patrons. The waitress was checking in, perfect timing. The star was THE FOOD. And of course the drinks…. I’m more of a cocktail person, and for a “beer” place they did not disappoint! And we DID try a few cocktails, AND beers.
