Delicious Sichuan food, fast service and kind staff. Good to share between 2+ people so that you can try a bunch of dishes. The mapo tofu is one of the best in NYC. I live in the neighborhood and I have probably eaten at / gotten takeout from Ren 20+ times, and it’s always great.
I enjoyed my time at REN. The service was excellent and they were extremely polite, kind, and quick. For a group of 4 we ordered a pot of tea (which they refill with hot water throughout) 4 entrees, 3 small plates, and 2 bowls of rice. Loved the crispy fish, Chungking chicken, and the eggplant was incredible. I wasn’t sure how this would hold up against other Szechuan restaurants in NYC but it definitely brings the flavor, elegance, and price point that is worth it for me!
Best dumplings I’ve ever had. Got two orders of the pork dumplings in chili oil and an order of chicken potstickers. Truly the best sauce I’ve ever had. Absolutely worth the stop in.
