I travel to the city for work a time or 2 every year. I’ve tried all the viral bagel shops but always come back to Rico and here’s why. The staff is efficient and patient. The seating is enough. The selection is not overwhelming. The ratio of cream cheese to bagel is perfect and not crazy. And the bagels. Oh the bagels are things dreams are made of. Light, warm, fresh, flavorful and filled with the perfect additions. I love Rico bagels for that good old NYC feel.
Rico Bagels absolutely blew me away. I ordered their signature “Rico Bagel” as a BLT, and it was hands down one of the most flavorful bagels I’ve ever had. The bagel itself is packed with bacon, cheddar, scallions, and poppy seeds baked right into the dough, which takes everything to another level. Sweet quaint spot in New York for fresh bagels and specialty cream cheese. Everything fresh. Not too busy. Short line. Check-out gal was a little short but bagels were very good. Mine was whole wheat with sun-dried tomato cream cheese and two eggs. Generous amount of cream cheese. It was an excellent choice. Highly recommend
