My visit to Rivareno completely lived up to the hype. I tried the Tiramisu and Pistachio gelato, and both were outstanding. The Tiramisu tasted like a true Italian dessert in frozen form rich mascarpone flavor, balanced coffee notes, and incredibly smooth texture without being overly sweet. The Pistachio was the real star for me. You can immediately tell they’re using high-quality ingredients. It had an intense roasted pistachio flavor, a natural nutty taste, and none of the artificial sweetne
New gelato shop. A few things still don't work there - they did not have any ice so they could not make any cold drinks. Hopefully that will be repaired soon. Regarding the gelato, extremely authentic and european tasting. Very different from my traditional Anita Gelato and other shops; I got the cookies + cream and hazelnut. I prefer more sugar, so the hazelnut was a bit light for me, but the cookies + cream was excellent. Indoor and outdoor seating. $12 with tax for a medium 2 scoops.
Overall: 4.5/5 I got a small cone ($9.50) to share with my brother so we could pick two flavors. They give you a really generous amount and the customer service was great. They let you sample the gelato before you commit which is always a plus. They even let us try an off menu matcha that was actually really good. Strong, bold matcha flavor and once it hits the menu it is definitely worth trying. The Banoffee Rivareno with mascarpone, banana, and caramel was good and tasted like a creamy banan
