We had passed this place so many times - it was always poacked for brunch on the weekends! We decided to try them out for dinner, and we're so glad we did! First, a caveat: it's cash only (they do have an ATM inside) so no cards! It's a very beautiful, old-school, turn-of-the-century vibe that we love about Brooklyn Heights. The Malloreddus alla Campidanese was excellent, with fresh, chewy pasta and a rich, savory sausage sauce. The octopus was light, tender with a slight char and briny flavor. The dishes here are really simple but done with care. Just wish it wasn’t cash only
such a cute neighborhood spot - feels tucked away and locals feel in the best way. come for drinks on the patio and stay for dinner. the food is good, not mind-blowing, but the service is lovely and makes up for it. perfect for a relaxed night out. great wine list and outdoor vibe. got the calamari, mushroom pasta, zucchini and hugo spritz.
