Please trust me on this as someone who has coffee every day and has tried every coffee shop you can think of. Nothing compares to the roasting plant. The roast options are amazing, you’ll find something you like here no matter how you like/what notes you like in your coffee. The coffee is always fresh, and trust me, you can tell the difference! This is what gives them a big advantage over quite literally almost any other coffee shop. Also helps that the prices are SO fair for the neighborhood.
From the moment we opened the door to the cafe and the aroma of roasted coffee hit our noses, we were sold! The freshly roasted coffee and the scrumptious pastries were exquisite! The customer service was top of the line-kind, courteous and joyful-made us feel welcome and it was a great start to our morning! Will definitely come again when we’re back in NYC.
i feel like an alien writing this review because i personally was not amazed and thought the drinks here were rather mediocre. we came and ordered a peanut butter latte and the blueberry matcha and both drinks were really mid and forgettable. the matcha was weak, and while the blueberry taste was there, tasted like a mass produced matcha. the peanut butter latte's pb taste was also pretty mild. we took the barista's recommendation on what beans to choose as well and the drink itself was still
