RokuNana is a wonderful sushi spot that makes for an excellent date night, with a cozy atmosphere and staff who are a delight to talk to. We ordered the unfiltered sake, a Kirin beer, the sunburned special roll and the omakase sushi deluxe. Almost everything was excellent, with the sushi consistently fresh and well prepared. Had a really great experience here. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The sushi selection was very fresh and balanced each piece had its own flavor and texture, and you could tell the chef really pays attention to detail. Some pieces were lightly torched which added a nice aroma and depth. The plating was also impressive. Even the dessert was simple but elegant, and everything looked carefully arranged. This was our second visit to this Japanese restaurant. We were seated at the bar since we came without a reservation, although there were a few tables available. The sweet potato roll was delicious and perfectly crunchy on the outside. We also enjoyed the cooked salmon, pan-roasted chicken, and the premium sushi platter from the raw menu. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. There’s also a speakeasy on the second floor.
