Solid Irish pub, friendly staff, and excellent pot pie. The main floor of the pub is long and narrow, so tables would be a premium when busy. Comfortable bar seating. The chicken pot pie is very good. The top is a puff pastry (either rough of full puff), which was flaky, light and melted in the mouth. The pie filling was classic, and the grave thickened over time, so a few minutes setting once at the table would be advised if you want a thicker gravy. My only complaint is that there should
Karl was great! We had an awesome time stumbling across this bar. The atmosphere was inviting and the vibes were there! We will definitely come back next time we’re in the city!
Shepard’s pie was good. Chicken pot pie was not good. The chicken had very strong old chicken smell. Maybe it’s the way it was cooked/boiled.. but we couldn’t eat it. Service was great.
