I’ve been coming here for years and I’m glad they’re still around. Decent vegetarian options. I had the vegetarian pho, the rice bowl, vermicelli bowl, and bahn mi. The bahn mi is a good size you can the entire thing if you’re really hungry. Get the bowl either vermicelli or rice. Has more veggies in it than the bahn mi. The vegetarian pho was good. I’ve been coming to Saigon Shack to dine in or take out since 2021 but this past Tuesday I ended up getting the spicy brisket bahn mi and it’s had my stomach in shambles. It was cold and didn’t taste like the last time I got the spicy brisket rice bowl (in 2023/4) but I was hungry and now I’m paying for it. Also the service wasn’t that good, the server who I hadn’t seen before was kind of rude. When I asked for no mayo on the bahn mi he laughed at me, that made me feel some kind of way. Anyways
I came in here on a cold, windy day, and the Vegetarian Phǒ was just what I needed to warm my bones and soul. The service was absolutely fantastic as well, I felt at home and taken care of in the space. My only suggestion would be to add a bit more of the Soy Protein to the Phǒ, there were only a couple pieces. Either way, I’ll definitely be back!
