In a city obsessed with what’s new, Sam’s is a reminder of what’s lasting. Decades-old, unpretentious, and completely sure of itself. The kind of Italian restaurant that doesn’t need to try hard because it never stopped being excellent. The food is genuine and superb, the restaurant has real soul, and the servers and ownership embody everything a neighborhood restaurant should be. Come once and you’ll understand immediately why Sam’s place is so special. A true New York institution. Don’t walk
