Absolutely unique Jewish heritage, food and old style service experience. Friendly insults are part of a package. Drinks are sold in bottles frozen in solid block of ice. Steak and fries is surprisingly very good. Carbonated chocolate milk is a MUST.

Incredible atmosphere - I'm not surprised this place is considered one of NYC's most treasured culinary destinations. A friend and I came for New Year's Eve and had a blast. We were seated in the center of the room at a table with both of our seats against the wall facing the other side of the restaurant.
