Best Lebanese in Brooklyn. When you walk in, you’re met with smell of fresh baked pita right there at oven in the front. They come out and to your table as soft and luxurious little pillows. We over ate hummus and muhammara just to get more pita. I do think their dips and small dishes are best, we loved the crispy potatoes and tiger prawns. Service was nice and the space is inviting. Again, you will be hard pressed to find better Lebanese in the city.
Sawa is bar none the best Lebanese restaurant I have ever eaten at. Portions are generous, atmosphere is welcoming, and it’s intimate enough/not too loud to have meaningful conversations. Excellent date spot in an underrated part of Brooklyn! It gets busy so def make a reservation!
This is one of those places I wish I would’ve written more notes on but I was too busy enjoying the food and company. Met my friend I hadn’t seen in ages here for dinner before a show and we were both blown away by the atmosphere, the authentic and delicious Lebanese delights and the friendly service.
