This was my second time coming to Schnippers while visiting NYC. The first time was 2 years ago. This visit wasn’t as good as the first. I am celiac, I ordered the A Lotta Bacon BLT on an GF bun and sweet potato fries which are celiac safe and a bottle of water. My son ordered a bacon cheeseburger and cheese fries and a soda. First I want to say the food was delicious. This lowered review is based on prices, serving sizes, and atmosphere. The cashier offered me a gluten free menu which was very
My husband and I stopped at Schnipper’s for a quick lunch in the city before a tour. We had heard good things about it, and it was exactly what we were looking for. Quality chicken and a solid burger that both tasted good, plus their buffalo and honey mustard sauces were good too. The only thing I wasn’t crazy about was their chocolate milkshake, there was a flavor about it that I wasn’t loving, and I’m guessing it’s the chocolate syrup they used. Plenty of seating and a great menu though!
I don't know if Andrew is still the person behind. We had good experience in the past and came back today, and it was excellent. Burgers were well prepared and tasty. The tuna melt was better than expected, it was very good. Caramel banana shake also excellent. Only the cookies and cream shake could be improved, with more cookies and richer shake. Menu has a lot of options and they take custom orders like sub for turkey patty. It feels like a well managed burger place.
