I recently placed a catering order from Shah’s Halal Food at 179 Madison Avenue, New York, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. We ordered Chicken Over Rice, Lamb Over Rice, Falafel Over Rice, and Fish Over Rice, and every dish was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The chicken was tender and well-seasoned, the lamb was juicy and packed with flavor, the falafel was crispy on the outside and soft inside, and the fish was cooked perfectly. My ex and I came into the Madison Ave location yesterday 4/1/2026 to try the out "The Golden Shawarma" footlong and it was DELISH. Ms. Sabina happily labeled each wrap because my ex doesn't do spicy too tough but I love spicy food. Then today 4/3/2026, I came back for another one. Ms Sabina and Mr Dinesh were awesome. They reminded me about spinning the wheel to see if I can get something. I asked for some green chile sauce which is also just delish. I hope that "The Golden Shawarma" footlong
Very friendly staff! Absolutely delicious chicken shawarma platter. Fun BOGO platter deal going on from 8-3pm when I was there during a workday. Would definitely return!!
