🍣 ENDLESS SALMON SERIES (every Thursday) We finally did it and made the trek (~4 hrs of trains) to visit New York for the evening JUST to eat here. And was it worth it? For us and the commute — it was a cool one-time experience and I would only recommend it to friends in the area. Was able to try their ayce salmon omakase. Since salmon is my favorite, this has been on my radar for awhile. It starts off as a normal salmon course. They give you different pieces from sashimi to nigiri with different toppings. At some point, they transition to an ayce style. You finish the nigiri they put another piece in front of you. They'll keep going until you tell them to still or the time has ended. The only complaint is that some of the rice did feel undercooked.
