Beautiful interior, good food, and great service! Great place to catch up with some friends! The music was low enough that we could all hear each other easily even when the dining room was full, and the ambience was top tier. I especially liked the Chilean sea bass, Singaporean noodles, fresh lychee, and matcha ice cream. Everything was good, but those dishes really stood out. Also has a great selection for vegetarian and gluten free options!
Reporting only on Grand Opening ceremony We happened to be walking across East 55th street on April 12 and caught the opening ceremony for Shun Lee Palace grand opening. It was very colorful and festive. It went on for quite a while with the drums, dancing dragons and celebrities. It was a lot of fun and attracted a very large crowd. We did not eat here yet but we will. We have eaten at the West 65th street location several times over the years.
Shredded beef and sautéed string beans were my favorite dishes! Both super addicting I couldn’t put it down. They recommended the matcha crepe cake for dessert and I’m so glad they did - rich matcha flavor that’s still light and fluffy. I loved the interior and layout of this place
