Walking into Smash House 47th Street is already a whole matzav — first you’re looking around like, “Did I miss it?” Then you realize, ahh, it’s tucked inside like a hidden shtiebel. food was good, it was hard to find, no place to sit and eat (at all) consider it a takeout window. find your own seating in some outdoor plaza if you don't have an office or car to eat in. the kosher certificate was not updated either. that said the food wad very good and we were satisfied when we finished eating.
It's a weird entry for sure but definitely one of the best burgers I've ever had. Enter through a jewelry warehouse building and go up three flights of stairs. Follow the signs. Get burgers with vegan cheese. Why only with vegan cheese offered? Due to Jewish law, no dairy and meat shall be mixed. The vegan cheese is nice and gooey though so do get!
