I have been meaning to review SoleLuna in Sunnyside for quite some time, and it’s well deserved. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed meal. I went to this Italian restaurant in Sunnyside after seeing a 4.7 rating on Google. However, my opinion is a bit different. Don't be fooled by rating. First, the pasta was below expectations. The flavor of the ingredients wasn't fully apparent. Second, one of the two staff members had a very irritating and unpleasant attitude. Skip the stuffed ricotta squash blossoms. It came out soggy and the only flavor was the ricotta. For mains, I highly recommend the pear ravioli. It was sweet and salty and served in a buttery sauce. The gnocchi is also a skip for me. It cane with melted shredded american cheese? on top and made it too salty. There was also very little truffle flavor.
