Found the perfect pre-Broadway spot! Sombreros on 48th St is super accessible and just a short walk to the theaters. The service here is incredibly quick and the staff is very attentive, so the food came out fast enough that we had plenty of time before our show. The food itself was great and the portions are large enough to share. They have an awesome $5 margarita deal, but note that it’s strictly at the bar, which is on the smaller side (around 5–6 seats, first come, first serve). I didn't get
Sombrero Mexican Restaurant is a go-to spot in Times Square, especially with Cinco de Mayo right around the corner. Established in 1983, it has built a strong reputation for serving authentic, elevated Mexican cuisine using fresh, high-quality ingredients. We started with the Guacamole De La Casa, made fresh to order and customizable to mild or spicy. The Main Quesadilla was loaded and satisfying, topped with sour cream and pico de gallo, with options like chicken, steak, vegetables, or shrimp.
I love the energy and great food here is really worth a spot in the city especially with the $5 happy hour margaritas! Fresh Guacamole and flavors just hitting the spot, steak and veggie tacos were the best! Check out our amazing video on Instagram and follow @jadaexploresall!
