I have been curious about this place for a while, and I recently tried it. I ordered the Tacobirria with Horchata, and it was by far the best I have tasted in the Bronx. The only thing that took me off was the price, but honestly after trying the food, I stopped complaining. Not only that, they are understaffed from when I went there, so the food took a bit to come out ( to be fair, I went when it was nearly 8pm on a Sunday). Other than that, I'm coming back to this place in the future.
I'm more interested in the 5 star reviews than the food I just ate. After paying over $26 dollars for Birria nachos and 1 drink, one would assume birria that was not overly cooked(the farmers cheese on top and the 3 pounds of lettuce was the freshest thing on the plate), beans that had no real Mexican flavor profile, no cilantro, lime, just generic in all ways, I have to wonder if the 5 star reviews were written by people who've never had Mexican food. They should just be an Ecuadorian chicken
I placed the doordash order for 3 birra with consome at or around 8:30 my tacos didn't arrive in until 10:00 of course when they arrived all the food is ice cold the consome is half empty I tried calling for whatever reason they have a telephone number that's in Brooklyn and all it does is ring
