Apparently you can’t get a cup of water without a purchase anymore. Policy has been updated about 4 - 5 months ago as per the barista in a black apron. Talk about being honest and saying “I worked overnight and just want water. I’m going to sleep later. I don’t need to eat or drink anything “. So sad that they changed this policy during the nasty summer. EDIT: I was told that that barista doesn’t work there. She was just picking up a shift. She was rude and was told of her mistake. No restroom, no seating. People are waiting leaning on walls and furniture. Not terribly quick preparation of orders either. Pretty awful even for New York. The only plus is that there was no carol music on repeat, somehow this branch got an exception?
