Starbucks at 575 5th Ave is a solid, reliable stop if you’re running around Midtown and need a quick caffeine fix. The location is super convenient, just a short walk from Rockefeller Center and all the 5th Ave chaos, so it’s great for grabbing something between sightseeing or meetings. Inside, it’s usually busy but the line moves fairly quickly, and mobile orders help a lot if you’re in a rush. Our coffees were tasty & nice and hot, our breakfast food (from the counter) was hot and yummy; our food and drink came out quickly and the staff were efficient. A homeless lady came in asking customers for coffee and money; and the lady behind the counter dealt with it so we no longer felt uncomfortable.
This is the only location in the city I enjoy coming to every morning close to 7AM to get my coffee. Donna and her team have been (and continues to be) the best baristas I have encountered. I am always greeted with a smile and energy that always gets my morning off right. The baristas take the time to know the regulars that come in and I love to see how every customer is treated.
