We visited the downstairs cafe space, and upstairs cocktail bar as well as the middle floor “normal” store. The cafe space downstairs was a brilliant experience, the staff were welcoming and attentive (especially to our 2 year old). I think this is one of the best Starbucks locations I’ve ever visited. Located in the Empire State Building, it has everything. It’s huge, with a wide variety of pastries and food options. There’s even a lower level where they host special tastings and pairings with cocktails—an incredible range of experiences. This is so different from a regular Starbucks. As a former barista, a store like this would have been amazing. The drinks and cocktail bar was quite different, and even the tasting floor. The people were some of the nicest in NYC that I met and even got some footage from it for content later.
