Solid dim sum place!! Unpopular opinion, but I like it more than House of Joy. Would def come back The have free fortune cookies and mints. The fortune cookies were funny lol - had Mr. Beast ads on them xD - Aromatic beef wrapped in scallion pancake ($12): 11/10, lowkey my fav bite of the meal. Not as greasy as the one from 886 in East Village. Great flavor - Pork xiao long bao ($12): 10/10, juicy and lots of meat. Broth is flavorful, and the skin is thin. I love this place! If you’re looking for Chinese made like in mainland China, this is the place. Its’ clean and simple design is relaxing. As a family we gravitate towards authentic eats with regionalized specialty dishes and not mainstream, US interpretations found in many strip plazas and food courts. I’ve been coming here for years, and it’s consistently one of my go-to restaurants. The food, service, and atmosphere are always excellent. Some of my favorites are the Wuxi spare ribs, wonton soup, and fried rice. One thing I have noticed over the past few months is that a couple of recipes seem to have changed, particularly the dan dan noodles and garlic eggplant.
