StEight (behind KUNIYA HAIR) If you know, you know—this spot is one of NYC’s true hidden gems. Walking into StEight feels like stepping into a secret world tucked right behind a hair salon, and that alone makes the experience unforgettable. The vibe is everything—intimate, cozy, and effortlessly cool with a Japanese-inspired aesthetic. It’s a small space (only about a dozen seats), which makes it feel exclusive and personal the second you sit down. The cocktails here are next level—creative,
Fun spot. Unique atmosphere. The spicy cocktail was great. The old fashioned was meh sadly. Only holds a bit over a dozen folks. One bartender yelling at new patrons that it’s standing room only gets old real quick. Try to sit/stand near the back if possible. Will def be back. It’s unique spots like this that make New York. ✅✅✅✅
Such a lovely and intimate bar. I love coming here with a friend and getting the same flight. The bartenders are so knowledgeable and helpful. They also have some of the best cocktails I’ve ever had.
